The Ins and Outs of How We Manage Your Home Maintenance and Repair
The culture of HouzMinders is to create and foster long-term relationships while we provide you with exceptional preventive maintenance, repair and handyman services for your home. This culture requires us to live our core values of integrity, compassion, and excellence.
All representatives of HouzMinders are initially interviewed to determine if they are a cultural fit and that they share the values of our organization. After that is established, a subsequent interview is conducted to determine their technical proficiency. Every representative who is in direct contact with the customer undergoes a full background check.
When you make your initial request for service, a HouzManager will be assigned to your account. Your HouzManager will be the gateway to all the services available to you from the HouzMinders brand. Whether it be scheduling a HouzReview, developing a HouzPlan, choosing a HouzPackage, or scheduling an a la carte service, your HouzManager will be your contact point to insure that communication and services are seamless.
We have a prepopulated form that acts as our checklist as we go through to identify potential maintenance, and repairs that are called for. This form is based on several consistent issues needing checked in all houses. We also rely heavily on your input as the Homeowner, as you are no doubt aware of things that we may or may not pick up following our checklist. Between the 2 of us we should be able to uncover all the issues. It will be necessary to take pictures as we move through the checklist and your recommendations, which will be put in your secure HouzFile.
HouzMinders will capture data such as the age of various mechanical components and appliances, a history of repairs and maintenance, and any other pertinent information. Tracking this valuable information is important to your insurance company, your estate, and future purchasers of your home.
All of the information/data compiled with our HouzReview will be analyzed and prioritized based on the following criteria:
Health and Safety
Needed repair to avoid further, more costly damage
Needed repair, but can be done any time
Regularly scheduled maintenance requirements to include preventative maintenance
Wish list of Projects, such as kitchen and bath remodeling
We will work with you to design a plan that fits your priorities and needs. We have three designed packages, but can create a customized one for your house if needed. Each package provides various levels and frequencies of home maintenance and handyman services.
Absolutely, we have a whole range of a la carte services that we are able to fulfill on a hourly basis. While we have this capability, and are very good at it, it makes it a little more difficult to fulfill our tagline of “taking the stress out of home ownership”.
No, not at all. You have the flexibility to reconfigure your package based on your changing needs and circumstances.
Absolutely! HouzMinders is completely insured and we bond our employees.
Our employees will always be outfitted with our HouzMinders logo, and we will always call prior to our tech arriving at your home. Additionally, we have GPS tracking to assist with efficiency and to confirm that our tech has arrived.
Your online account will house all current and past invoices. Customers have the ability to pay online through our customer portal. Additionally, our HouzTech can receive payment and update your account while he is at your home.
